Transform your 5th wheel trailer with our 8" offset Ranch Hitch Adapter 3139 and use any standard gooseneck hitch in the bed of your truck. The remote cable mechanism allows you to engage and release the coupler while standing on the ground outside your pickup. Not only is it strong, it is also very easy to use. The bell shaped receiver allows for the hitch ball and adapter to be as much as 3" off center, and still slide into place correctly. Most gooseneck receivers require you to get into the bed of your truck to latch the coupler; not so with the Ranch Hitch Adapter.

The Ranch Hitch Adapter features 8 inch offset stinger and cable system, and fits standard 2 5/16 inch gooseneck ball hitch. It can pull a trailer weighing up to 24,000 lbs with 6,000 lbs tongue weight, and offers 3 inch vertical adjustment from 11-3/4 inches to 14-3/4 inches. The kit includes all hardware for attachment to 5th wheel trailer, and easy installation, even an inexperienced do-it-yourselfer can install it in less than an hour. It is the only adapter meeting V19 standards, and is fitted with Andersen's bell shapped coupler allowing for hookup even when up to 3" off center.

IMPORTANT: We do not recommend using the Ranch Hitch adapter (3100 or 3139) on a cushioned or moveable pin box, only on static pin box applications. See our Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection instead. To see if the adapter will fit your 5th wheel, back your truck into position as if you were hooking up your 5th wheel, and measure from the "pin plate" (the bottom of the pin box) down to the top of the ball in the bed of your truck. If that measurement is between 11-3/4" and 14-3/4", the adapter should work.
